Dunked Chocolate Chunk Cookies

Oh happy day! Dunked Chocolate Chunk Cookies are here!

If you're wondering if you've seen this cookie recipe before, you're right! I posted it way back in February and have made them several times since then. But these are the special "holiday" version!

To jazz up these ooey, gooey, soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies, replace the chocolate chips with chunks for more chocolatey goodness, and then dunk them in white chocolate and add edible decorations!

It's a simple way to make delicious cookies taste more.... DELICIOUSER!! :P

The ingredients:
Before being baked:
Dunked and delicious!:

White Chocolate Coating

1 cup white baking chocolate pieces
1 1/2 tbsps. vegetable shortening
Edible decorations

1. In a small saucepan, combine the chocolate and shortening.
2. Heat and stir over medium-low heat until melted.
3. Cool slightly.
4. Dip half of each cookie into the chocolate coating and sprinkle with edible decorations.
5. Place on a sheet of waxed paper and let stand for 30 minutes or until set.

Well, my day started off PERFECTLY ... thanks to you and Rayzor! Imagine walking in to the office to be met with a fantastic assortment of the Bumbling Baker's bounty...only problem is, what's my favourite - these cookies, the peanut butter cup, or those soon-to-be-posted chocolate cake sandwich cookies...YUMMMMMMMMM. Thank you for the treats and Happy Holidays!
